WidgetBucks October Earnings Now Posted

Jerry MaGuire says Publishers, bloggers and affiliates can now view their total October WidgetBucks earnings. The total figure, which includes widget PPC earnings, referral fees and the one-time $25 sign-up bonus, can be accessed within the MyBucks page on widgetbucks.com. As a reminder, the threshold for receiving payment is $50 (which includes the $25 sign-up bonus).

PayPalIncidentally, a number of publishers still need to specify their preferred payment method, found within their MySettings page. When payments are distributed in early December, one way to receive your money more quickly is to select PayPal rather than a printed/mailed check. PayPal does not charge a fee for domestic (U.S.) users with a U.S. bank account, but some charges do apply for merchant accounts and cross-border payments (click here for full list of PayPal fees, including those in Europe, Canada and other locations). Also, while we have a 45-day payment term, we plan to make best efforts to shorten this turnaround. Some of you have asked about additional methods of receiving payment -- at this time, PayPal and check are the two we are offering; however, we may consider expanding this list in the future.

The delay in posting earnings is due to the continued suspensions of accounts that fail to comply with our terms of use, for everything from click fraud to hosting ads on non-English language sites, ad-only pages, and pornographic sites. The vetting process for the click fraudsters took time (and still continues), so, thanks for your patience.

Also, early this week, two report-related features are coming to your MyWidgets page:

  • "Referral Earnings" displays a breakdown of money made from each referral credited to a publisher's account
  • "Show Deleted Widgets" lets publishers view earnings from widgets they may have deleted or that aren't currently active. Several have asked if deleting a widget removes those earnings from their account. The answer is no -- any widget you've placed on your site or blog that has earned PPC credit remains credited to your account, even if deleted.

I had lost my account on the account of click fraud activity that you had suspected.I would like to tell the team that non of the clicks I had made personally.There might be possibility that others might be clicking my widgets violently.As for the cure of that i have decided that i will delete all the widgets from my site and keep earning through referrals.I had worked hard to promote Widgetbucks and had made 37 people part with adsense and join widgetbucks.later my account was disabled without any prior warning.In the records you might find that there were dilogues between me and widgetbucks team but none of them were related to account suspension.I have never clicked any widget by myself.I have contributed a lot in the success of widgetbucks & this is what I got in return.I have writen many letters to the customer care regarding this but non of them are replied even the week has passed so I am made to write here.I tried to call on the contact numbers mentioned in the site but of no use,as i did not get any reply.So I request dean to personally be in contact with me my wb account is ankil19@hotmail.com reinstate my account as soon as possible.I hope it is not in the policy of widetbucks to not to help anyone even if the person helps us.I think I should be given credits for the referrals I made for Widgetbucks and ya I had not committed click fraud

I had also ~600$ on October and ~500$ for this month - November...

I have signed-up with the site, they reviewed and approved it and nothing was wrong... But today I have received an e-mail stating that my site is NON-ENGLISH so they suspended my account.

I mention that when I have signed-up there was nothing in their Terms & Policies to specificy that NON-ENGLISH sites are not allowed. They have modified and added this item one week ago I think... And I haven't received any warning or something like that.

We should do something really quick because Widgetbucks will earn very very much money from us.
Just think about this... If we let this happen anyone can start their own site and claim they are an ad agency, offer a big CPC and in the end suspend most of the accounts... What do you think about this?

it would be nice to get a summary total which shows the # of impressions, clicks, etc., for all widgets being used on 1 single line instead of just seeing the total $ earned.

nice addition to the referrals section , but i noticed my referrals dropped from 31 to 23 , does this account for 8 members who i had as referrals being banned from widgetbucks

Dear Team WidgetBucks,

I am really struggling to defend your program over at Digital Point forums. A lot of people have seen the way you have changed your TOS, without informing already registered publishers, and then used the excuse of breaking your new terms to ban some of those publishers accounts.

This is completely unacceptable.

It is also noted that, contrary to your own FAQs page, it now seems only US and Canada residents can register for the program. This also renders invalid the address information provided by all your previously registered publishers.

Again this is totally unacceptable.

I hope you remedy these problems. I have absolutely no problem with you banning people who break your rules, but those rules must be fairly and transparently applied to all.

I hope you recognise the trust a lot of honest publishers have put in you.

If you abuse that trust by God we will bring you down.

@harish: our account review team has very carefully gone through the accounts and those that clearly violate our terms of service have been suspended without warning. this is something that we have been clear about in earlier posts regarding suspensions. For example, does a blog that shows graphic car crashes images need a warning? or pornography? or a site that has 300 clicks and 20 impressions? hopefully this helps explain a bit about the type of egregious accounts we are suspending.

Don't bother! don't waste your time, can't you see they are answering only "account related problems" just read the last posts from Dean. He answered all the "problems" that he could handle, the REAL problems will never be answered.
Delete your widgets, and start promoting with posts and news that WB is a scam, so that new people won't register anymore. Anyway registrations "are opened" for nothing, coz you'll never get your confirmation email anymore :)

@harish: yes, WidgetBucks is open to those outside U.S. and Canada (but please see our most recent news about international traffic on our blog). And yes, we pay outside the U.S. and Canada as well.

Now I'm a 100% sure that WidgetBucks IS A SCAM. They've suspended my account [got 50$+ so they should have payed me in December] saying that my site is Non-English, but those idiots don't even know that my site is 100% English, not a single foreign word. They are definetly banning all/allmost all accounts. So yea.. this IS A COMPLETE SCAM :)

Well widgetbucks is a scam, yes, but your pic doesn't prove that.
It only shows that you have a low CTR (click through rate).
I had with them over 2 k impression and no clicks, but in the end of the day I got between 5-10 clicks...
Anyway if you have high impression and you get no clicks doesn't mean that they are a scam :)
But they really are :D
