Thanks to all of our fantastic, hard-working publishers, WidgetBucks has officially surpassed one billion ad impressions, less than three months after inception. After hitting the mark on Dec. 23, the network has continued to see record impression days heading into the new year. But we're not stopping at zero to a billion in 83 days. We've got a number of announcements coming this quarter so stay tuned.
Before we make any other news though, on Thursday several members of the WidgetBucks team, including Mpire CEO and president Matt Hulett and CTO Greg Harrison, are headed to San Francisco to accept People's Choice honors for Mashable's Open Web Awards (applications and widgets category). Winners were announced on Mashable just before the holiday break and now we'll be joining Google, MySpace, Facebook, Yahoo!/Flickr, Digg and others in accepting our respective category awards. Check out Mashable's OWA page to catch UStream's live webcast of the event, which runs 7 - 10 PT on Thursday, Jan. 10. Thanks again for all of you who voted for WidgetBucks! Be looking for a post from San Francisco later this week.

congrats widgetbucks for the award. but we publishers will be happy if u people make some proper communication about the click/impressions reporting delay last one week.
well at least we know where to go protest now about how you guys don't communicate with your publishers who got you the damn impressions...
re: reporting delays: Well, obviously, we didn't deliver on the time line we promised heading into last weekend. Our deepest apologies -- not sure what else can be said. We've got full engineering resources on this 'round the clock to get it updated and current. CTO Greg Harrison has just told me Jan. 4 is completed and Jan. 5 is updating as this is being written. Naturally, as there becomes less back data, things speed up. We can only ask for your patience. Regards.
i am waiting and waiting and waiting
from many months
i hope this is not another crappy promises
Thats fair enough, but why don't you answer your phone? Why don't you update my ticket more then once a week?
Don't be bragging about your web awards if you can't support the people who got you there.
wow, congrats.....
Hope to earn more with WidgetBucks!!

yeah...we bring you pageviews and you pay 0cents for our pageviews. is that fair?
WidgetBucks would appear to be a perfect revenue source for MagneticPortal.
Do they just pay their members for clicks, or for a percentage of sales?
It doesn't seem fair business practice if these comments are indicative of everyone's experience with them.
I'm confident that with a little bit of solid and ethical programming, MagneticPortal Systems will in time offer a better system for income generation.
Advertisers should get more than pennies on the thousands of dollars.
Who'd like to see the account records of WidgetBucks?
I know I would!
What concerns me as a new WidgetBucks promoter is the lack of good reviews I'm finding for WidgetBucks.
If you have ever received payment from WidgetBucks, please visit MagneticPortal and post your experiences.
If you've had bad experiences with them, you are invited to post that as well.
It seems that the comments here are unmoderated, but that may not be the case forever.
Any WidgetBucks related comments posted at MagneticPortal will only be moderated to the degree necessary to maintain inoffensiveness.
I need to know the truth.
Don't you?
Thank you.
